Unpublish This Heart

With a sigh she felt her spirit moving from within and began praising
Our father who art in heaven that was a sound of a broken person

Oh, how she had forgotten the love she had for herself and others
She was punishing herself for thy trespasses against and started seeking validation from others while forgetting her worth
Through that, the expense she had to pay was thinking others loved her which made her forget that loving herself was more important

How could my life be twisted she cried and asked the one above?
“How can I forgive myself and even forgive what happened in the past?”

A voice whispered “you never know the twist life can have but forgiving those who trespassed against you, is the start of finding peace you seek
“She listened further, the voice continued”
“I am thy father thou art in heaven if call upon me to forgive thy broken heart that knows not how to forgive”
I will not penance this heart that knows not how to love

She knew then that from that moment she would be covered by the warmth of those who love her, which she had been carrying a lot of pain and hurt

Even though the skeletons in her closet still haunts her as she keeps them hidden she still allows a space for love to slowly creep in because she allowed her unpunished heart that knows not how to love to open up

She will forever keep her eyes fixated on the one above when all seem to be lost because he is the one who knows her heart through and through it all and he is all with the greatest love
