Unmerrited Favor

With each valley I pass through he walks with me

Safely he guides me where I cannot see.

He knows my need before I call and he picks me up each time I fall

Always he reminds me he knows what’s best for me and that

It’s impossible to lose my footing when I am on my knees

Many times along the way I have stumbled and grieved him so

but his mercy on me has never ceased to flow

For you see, through the love of my sweet Savior I have been given

Your faith shines in this tender verse Lori, and as you say, good footing can be found on our knees. And I need to thank you dear for your visit and kind remarks!
