Unmasked and Unguarded

Photographs freezes in time Breaks in reality Thoughts of memories long ago Still frames of goals set for yourself People to look up to Remember so eloquently Fragments of a time before I wonder to myself Are these pictures true identities Or fake smiles impersonating who they really want to be Or let you see We have the ability to crop, to dull , to enlighten. Our photographs in time But for me I rather be Unedited, unchanged Cropped into the lives I love forever Unmasked and Unguarded.

I agree but its not just photographs. Our profiles on social media sites are more of what we want to be rather than who we really are

Very good and so true. Photos anyway have the ability to distort truth as we make our own assumptions. Rob
