Unmasked

Sunlight filters
Through the leaves
As I lean
Against a tree
The wind plays gently
With my hair
At the world
I sit and state
Never wanting
To leave here
Here I can think
My mind is clear
I smile softly
As sun shines
On my face
I live for these times
Where I can sit
And just let go
Let down my guard
And let emotion show
In my eyes
And not have to try
So hard to fake it
So hard to hide
No one else
Tries to see
So only here
Will I be me
