Rictameter
A nine-line poetry form. The 1st and last lines are the same with the syllable count as follows: line 1 - 2 syllables line 2 - 4 syllables, line 3 - 6 syllables, line 4 - 8 syllables, line 5 - 10 syllables line 6 - 8 syllables line 7 - 6 syllables line 8 - 4 syllables line 9 - 2 syllables.

Unmasked, her smile summons hope held hostage by fear. It feels good to feel free again, assign yesterday's woes to memory and once more, indulge in a hug received in a world where everyone's smile's unmasked. (Rictameter) 02/10/2022 Give me a Rictameter! Poetry Contest Sponsored by: M. L. Kiser

Nice! If I may ask, why are the selected categories 10th and 11th grade? Or how is that determination made? I’m new here and just curious, thanks!
