Unlocked and Free

Heart unlocked
nevermore to shelter fear.
It's open now to reclaim
the love I long for.

I had it locked against all feeling,
afraid to love again.
Locking out not only pain
but the pleasures of love and life.

You thought there was no key
so you broke the lock.
That's how determined you were
to open my heart to your love.

Now there is no barrier,
nothing to hinder your entrance.
With my heart unlocked, I welcome you.
Enter and make it your home.
