Unlikely Victor

The game is
being played
           under unfair
    circumstances
              yet
we continue onwards
      In the black ink
of space
we dare to light a candle
 let no one doubt
     our courage
we move from star to star
       feeling their warmth
beneath us
      a long journey
yet not a futile one
      we are made of starcust
and to it we shall return
 Millenia will pass
by
       but we've left our mark
                   in the astral space
            In the distant
future
       travellers will pass
by
  and pay homage to
our efforts
As our candle slowly burns
we are reminded
of ETERNITY
