Unless You Know a Poets Pen

Unless you know a poets pen
you'll never experience the
feel of his unspoken words.
Eyes follow the strokes of his pen
yet you will never hear his heart
But, simply read his Bio.

Passionately, pens his lifes song
in the form of a rhythmic ballad..
describing his very essence
strong upward downward acrostic
Introducing to you - himself in a
bouncing...harmonious...haiku.

The romanticism of the night
when his lights are low..Oh
how the words freely flow
You're never wrapped in his emotion
Unless you know a poets pen

An Artist creates a painting and after that he has no control over what it will invoke in the heart of the 'seer'. Isn't that what makes art so challenging? Isn't that what makes the artist's passion truly great? Having said that I do not think I agree with your views but even then, I enjoyed reading your work. Thank you for helping me to find my own meanings. God bless

Just as art..people see the things in their own eyes...an artists passion in what is in his heart...I don't know what it is because I know not his heart..his perception may not be mine. This poem is saying basically that no one knows a poet until his pen allows you to. Thanks for the comment...I appreciate it.
