Unleavened
Conformity's endearing stand
the heritage, now as captive, planned,
that bread defying nation's grand
unleavened, pride's disciples hand.
The baking, on this time afore
as preparation cleans the moor
so dominate beliefs encore
and joyous, yet obedience store!
Like Faith unknown, the action soar
as time stands still, its vestige pour
the blessings, ah but inward score
misgivings carry-over spore!!
Our daily bread, a thinner loaf
so carefully, the yeast removed
and constancy, this time give scope
to God's reunion and approve!
Oh demise then, my puffed up yen
where else it came from take away
and fill this gamut, not pretend
humility consort again!
Eat well, my leverage so extend
my brother's keeper reinforce.
Today's beginning must not end
in prayerful dominance recourse!
