Unleash the Child Within You
The Child
within me wakes
up every time I see
a chocolate, cake or ice cream.
I lick and relish every morsel while
my husband says you are grown up.
I do it when I am
with family
at home
The Child
within me wants
to play games endlessly
for while doing so I'm at the
moment enjoying myself, all my cares
and worries set aside. I am
practicing mindfulness
effectively
with joy
There is
a child within
each of us, tucked away
out of fear of ridicule by
others. Unleash that child, allow it to
do whatever it wants. It is
the source of boundless joy.
Don't think about
the world
Watching
you others might
shed their mask and learn to
find joy in small events of life.
Why follow the world? Why not live with joy
every moment of your short stay?
Be an inspiration
for others to
follow
