Unknown Pain

The trickling of my tears made
me aware of how i could do nothing
I couldn't have help them
and i couldn't reassure them
that a change was coming

Why must the skin were in
make us so different
We all came from our mothers womb
But why was I destined
to be born as a "lesser"
Although all those years we were
Beaten and humiliated
They never lost hope because
they knew our blood sweat and prayers
Would lead to something greater
