Unknown

I’m trapped in other people not knowing.
Unknown as a tree stump still alive.
Shaved down feelings.
Biting nails inside me.
I’m trapped in “no one knows-land.”
Creeping in my liver nothingness.
They don’t know that I have voices confined by me.
Trembling upward.
Flighty like a person who could know but can only fly.

Unknown.

I’m stuck with knowing everything down to the last inch of space between words.
I’m trapped in other people not knowing.

That’s the lesson they wanted me to learn:

Don’t ask again.
