Universe Blues
Moons circle distant
planets
Other worlds may hold
water
and be filled with life
But I've got the universe
blues
We're of such small
importance
You may want to matter
Well, I'm afraid
the universe is a cold, cold
friend
and grants us a moment
of consciousness
before nightfall
Yeah, I've got the universe blues
Will you sing them with me?
Will you lament
with me?
Our small stature
in such vast surrounding
Let the beat
of the cosmic dawn
enter your heart
Sing the universe blues
with all your might!
