Unite Against Plight

We may disagree on things but not all Finding those agreements can bring unity If we focus on the ailments we fall While the opposite yields impunity No matter our color, race, or nationality The thing that remains certain A world so unjust seems like normality It is our job to raise that curtain Shed the light on the plight and let's begin to unite Whether we are black, brown, or white We need to take flight, and stand together to fight for our rights Which were given to us by God It's time we unveil the façade If we're undetermined then it's easier said than done, so let's unite as one Allow all future generations to inherit their inherent freedom, not just some.
