Unitarian Universalist Woman

UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST WOMAN

Sometimes you see your spouse
of many years as if for the very first time!
Yesterday I realized that there is a “look”
in my community and in my home too
For those among us with unlimited funds
that look is fostered by Eileen Fisher,
but in the case of my wife by J.Jill
(Do we look like money to you?)
White blouse, black slacks or blue jeans,
gray sweater, a colorful scarf, ballet flats
and for my wife specifically, a little lipstick
and nothing else needed
Thank God (if you must) the gray hair,
the beauty and the kindness are free!
