Unicorn Princess

She's been through the worst and still hasn't felt the best
The world is weighing heavy, but I hope I can help the princess
for the world, she has to put on her soldier uniform
At heart she's a princess who still believes in Unicorns

She's such a beautiful girl who's had an ugly past
Life has taught her lessons, and you can't study that 
To get to her dream, she's having to go through the muddy path
Her dress is marked with dirt, but her fake smile is the most lovely mask 

Through the storm and rain, I hope you find a way to laugh princess
Scars and bruises on her body that the man of her past left
A few slips, but you haven't crashed yet
Let me carry you, so you can save all the energy you have left 

You can try to hide them, but I know some scars still bleed
You're stronger than me, but let me be strong for you, when you feel weak
I know the world is scary, and you're still going through the storm
But let's ignore that for the time being, and let's go and search for unicorns
