Unhappiness Is a Drag

Unhappiness is such an unnecessary drag It pulls one down to the depths of despair, Not something about which one will brag Unhappiness is such an unnecessary drag, Disgusting as a limp, damp old wash rag If someone is unhappy, I really do care, Unhappiness is such an unnecessary drag It pulls one down to the depths of despair.

I have lots of friends who take "happy pills" prescribed by their doctors, because they have chemical imbalances. It works for many of them.

I suppose, if their doctor feels like they really need them. I much prefer making my own happiness. Pills are for treating illnesses only, in my opinion. Some depression, I think, is self-induced!
