Unguarded Moment

I saw them out the corner of my eye
When their eyes met as she walked by
What did it mean this unguarded moment
When their secret between them was sent

Was I the only one who shared their secret
If they knew about me would they regret
Their eyes meeting as they did silently
A lovers tryst that for a moment was set free.
