Well said, although I fail to understand United's thinking in separating husband from wife; did they expect her to hang around an airport waiting for her husband to arrive, book an hotel at her expense, duplicate taxi fares home, etc.? How could United justify booting a paid First-Class passenger for an employee who need not report for work until the following day? The mind boggles, but thank you for putting this circumstance in words everyone can understand! Aloha! Rico

Have not flown in a while. Went to two seders - one at my sisters and one with some new people. Drank a little too much wine at the first one! Good poem - one of your best! Please comment on my postcard poem. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Capsulized efficiently, Ilene. Those "friendly" sky employees should've bought seats on another airline rather than abusing a passenger who'd paid for his seat. It'll cost them a lot more in the long run.
