Unfazed
Days itself found escape
Nights in kind, I cannot grasp
Time only fades to forever wait
Unforeseen memories… only last
Thoughts were reasoned light
Unburden by burdens to claim refresh
In my mind were my sight
For this moment… my soul has left its flesh
It wasn’t renewal I realise
It was letting go… an unplanned tomorrow
An olden self I cannot help sympathise
Yet a revival I’m yet to follow
Easy is never the word for change
Yet hard… was witnessed passing by
Moderation spites to plain
Where do my acceptance lie?
Days in passing for nights to grasp
Was it between I found my escape?
That many evenings… a never last
Perhaps time were made to await
