Unfaceable Indeed
Unfaceable Indeed
I used to think you'd forever hide
In the shadows of your failure
I used to think you'd let them chide
Your heart, for it wasn't pure
Stained by failure you forever denied
A fear so great it had no cure.
You were always stumped between
Embarrassment and fear
At night and day, courage was unseen
In fog and so unclear
Yet on that day, oh how knife-keen
Unafraid, shedding not a single tear!
Bravely you to battle strode
Though unarmed you fought the beast!
Uncaring of the troubles it forbode,
Your courage never ceased
On your back was a heavy load,
Challenging, to say the least !
The knight in you, how brave and tall
It stood to make things clear
Instead of cowering , despite the fall
At the battleground, thee was there!
Though not in history or in a famed hall
Unwavering, you battled your fear.
