Une Nuit
The fragrant air settles
Overtaking us
The sun behind us
The sound of water
Ripples and waves
In our ears
As we sit
On the wooden dock
Darkness surrounds
Leaving us
Alone with the stars
Midnight sky
Shiny starlight
Brings us heaven
Beneath
A cover of velvet.
