Undeserving Love

If I was given a hand to hold long ago,

I would have had the strength to be myself,

Not allow others to tell me how I was always in the wrong,

Putting it in my head that I am always in the wrong,

Tell me I am never good enough,

And never will be.

I found a one true friend

But cannot keep her,

She stole my heart,

And she can keep it till my last breath

For she taught me how to breath without being hated for it.
