Understanding the Blues
Dancing through life, no woes at all
I am only five foot two, but feel eight foot six.
Things are coming may way
Lah Hah Lah Haha
It is a great life,
no woes at all.
I dance to jazz, I dance to blues.
I shake my bootie to all kinds of news.
I am fully me, all brave and stuff
Until something hits me
Square between the eyes
My world has ended.
The one with no woes.
I am full of sadness.
And no place to put it.
I dance no more, but still listen to the music.
Understanding the blues for the very first time….
