Understanding Beliefs
I could never question your beliefs who am I to say you're wrong?,
Many people love music but don't love the same songs,
Many people love to eat but don't eat the same foods,
Why should happiness compete? It makes us all look like fools,
We don't share the same jokes but we all love to laugh,
We don't feel the same quotes but ideas we all grasp,
Tell me what's the truth cause this life a mystery,
We don't have the same roots but we share a history,
We breathe the same air even drink the same water,
Share the same sun why we making life harder?,
If your thoughts bring you peace who am I to disturb?,
If it's not hurting me why should I say a word?
If it's God that you seek then I pray you're fulfilled,
If that's not your belief what makes yours more real?,
The root of all ideas share a base in the mind,
Imagination is persuasive more or less it's divine,
To be or not to be is merely options when you're free,
So for me to try to stop how you be isn't me.
I love you though you're different.
