Understanding

Everyone needs that someone,
Who truly understands,
Just that one person,
Who will be there to hold your hand.
Will you be that person?
Dependable and strong,
Standing by their side,
Right where you belong.
There are words, more important,
Than “I LOVE YOU”,
They are of course,
“I’M HERE FOR YOU”.
So be that one person,
Show you care and understand,
Make sure in their darkest hours,
You’re there to hold a hand.

I like to write about PTSD, Depression, Stress etc., I've been there both personally and as a witness to it. I just want others to be more aware of it and for those who battle it, to know that there are people out there that do understand and will be there for them.
