Understanding
Why is it so hard to understand
The meaning in Your Word?
‘Cause all we have is interpretations
Of what people have seen or heard.
We spend our lives seeking knowledge
So, we can live our lives for You
Please, help us Lord to understand
What is false and what is true.
There are people that have You in their heart
But, they struggle everyday
There are times we don’t know how to act
Or, to know what we should say.
I pray to You to open our eyes
So, we all can see
What it is You want from us
Or, what it is our lives should be.
There is a feeling that I get
And, I know in my heart it’s right
Lord, it’s like the miracles you gave the blind
When You touched them and gave them sight.
There’s a power that’s in our spirit
And, I believe that it comes from You
That’s why I know I can trust Your Word
And, that Your Word is always true.
