Underneath the Moon

A ring
   of trees
         surrounds
our homestead
       The sky looks down
on us with favor
      We have moonlight to
relieve us
       from the stress of
the day
    Hours of toil
lead to deep slumber
      underneath the autumn
moon
        all things seem possible
wind blows from the east
   we lie down and wait
until the sun rises over
     the hills
   our dreams
are interrupted
    by morning
like evening, morning has it's
own answers
      We reach out
     Small figures
   In the cosmic tale
Holding aloft our small flag
      as wecontinue to live
 On our wondorous blue orb
