Underneath My Clothes

Underneath my clothes
Lies a landscape of scars
And neglected places,
Places that I don't even want to touch.
It makes me too lonely
To fabricate affection,
To fool my body into believing that it is loved.

This write is very direct and filled with extreme clarity that the reader cannot help but understand and often times agree with or relate to. Very well expressed. Michael
