Under the Same Grey Cloud

I slept in the past where the dreams forever last You didnt come even close To making me come around when you kissed me softly But its a happy ending I never lose You look so good I dont feel so great Everything behind I could have brought forward But the sight of some things gets so akward Under the same grey cloud we're coated in spots Water paints us under an invisble rainbow You feel purple, I feel yellow Theres nothing about you I would change And I love the look of strange I am sorry you sometimes feel sad Especially at the times I feel alive But dont walk in my shadow You got your own beautiful soul Tell me if I am part of your goal Tell me things sweet Wish me to places I never see You dont have to colour the sky red Just dont tell me that my yesterdays are days gone dead We walk the bridge, the toll is our torn heart In the night we burn the fire But no one can see the smoke But it will irritate their eyes As they get too close Under the same grey cloud that never glows Under the same grey cloud a hundred people Just standing like statues Feeling they make the wrong choices when they choose Under the same grey cloud we're coated in spots Water paints us under an invisble rainbow You feel purple, I feel yellow Theres nothing about you I would change And I love the look of strange I am sorry you sometimes feel sad Especially at the times I feel alive But dont walk in my shadow You got your own beautiful soul Tell me if I am part of your goal Its under the same grey clouds the sun still shines Just give it time, its gonna be fine You gotta find a place You gotta find a place To keep the rain off your face You gotta find a place You gotta find a place To keep the rain off your face You already won the race Under the same grey cloud You meaning of life is found
