Under the Rubble

When truth rises to the surface, opening our eyes,
Disguised as pain with love in our eyes,
These are the moments when we reflect,
Under the rubble, the love in regret,
The picture we see changes, our hearts start to change,
It makes us view love, we finally face the real pain,
Does it diminish the love that camouflage hides?,
If anything, there's more love behind that diguise,
The patience to hear, see, feel and know,
God gave us these senses for love to be shown,
Maybe not in the way we expect it to be,
But God knows what we need to set our heart free,
