Under the leaden sky, where dreams intertwine with the shadows of night
Under the leaden sky, where dreams intertwine with the shadows of night
Under the leaden sky, where dreams intertwine with the shadows of night,
monsters walk among us, born from divine wrath and ignorance,
creations of gods who laugh in hidden corners of the universe,
fed by human folly that strengthens them with each passing day.
They wander our streets like aimless ghosts,
mercilessly hunting any soul they encounter, leaving only desolation behind,
and, like a shroud of mist, they blend with the crowd,
for their faces are mirrors of our shattered hopes.
We are blind to their presence, for they hide within ourselves,
and no weapon can aid us against these creatures,
for we are merely their sustenance, destined to fall hopelessly,
under a fate that burdens us to our last breath.
We cannot confront the gods, nor the man seduced by power,
for together they have joined forces to ceaselessly subjugate us,
and our destiny is written in stars that no longer shine,
in a tale where the end is an echo of divine silence.
And thus, under the leaden sky, we quietly await the end,
for we cannot defeat what we cannot see or understand,
but deep within, a flicker of hope still struggles,
for perhaps, one day, we will find the courage to face the monsters.
