Under the glow of a dead moon
I have been here much too long.
I ache for a varied vies of the stratosphere
A spin on the rings of Saturn
Bar hopping on the Milky Way
I know way too much about you
Earthlings,
Making love
Under the glow of a dead moon
A cancer
Destroying
the celestial body
you rely on for sustenance.
I came to monitor your actions
In “The Great War”
(as if a war could be great).
You still have our attention
I shall be leaving
My hope is
That you awaken
To your insanity
For my replacement
Will be much less tolerant
Of your antics.
