Under a Poets Moon

I wait for you
under the light 
of the poets moon
every day of my life   
every hour of my journey
each minute of my hope 
each second of my heartbeat
I am yours and yours alone
every ounce of my blood  
every pound of my flesh
each heartbeat  that I  am blessed with
each sunrise that  caresses my soul
my life’s purpose is to love you 
your destiny is my destiny
beneath the moonbeams 
of  the poets moon
I am yours forever
I wait for you
