Under a Neon Light

Passion and romance,
holding each other tight
like there is no tomorrow
steamy days and nights,
under a neon light.
Wherever and whenever,
teenage lust at middle age,
emotions out of control
and on high like us.
Never a care,
flipping off the world,
we needed money to survive
our fairytale motel lifestyle,
we laughed
and sang the smugglers blues.
Money came and went
under a neon light.
We cryed and made love,
told lies
and lived with desire
as our only friend.
Love came ,
love stayed,
and love went
under a neon light.
