Undefeated Before Your Eyes

I’ve never felt so high it seems
You held me tight as we kissed in my dreams
I’ve been scared out of my wits lately
But, with your embrace, I’m safe honestly

I was defeated by depression and anxiety
I can’t say I’m happy yet until I feel complete
I’m empty as a drum inside my body
I won’t break down with tears of shameful defeat

I’m undefeated…
This pain is undesirable
I’m undefeated…
This shame is unbearable
I’m not regretting anything
You’re my everything, darling…
I’m incredibly undefeated
And I’m proud of it, you see?
I’m proud of it oh so humbly
I’m undefeated by your sadness throne
Your throne of all alone and on your own

Your beautiful, blissful brown eyes
Blossoms with hi’s, not goodbyes
Showers away doubts and mind’s lies
My heart’s churning like the shining sea’s torrent
With unconditional love with no room for resentment
I will always remember you and lucid dream about you, my angel God-sent

I was defeated by depression and anxiety
I can’t say I’m happy yet until I feel complete
I’m empty as a drum inside my body
I won’t break down with tears of shameful defeat

I’m undefeated…
This pain is undesirable
I’m undefeated…
This shame is unbearable
I’m not regretting anything
You’re my everything, darling…

Your throne of all alone and on your own

Your mesmerizing muscles and tattoos are above the roof, my dreamlike love
I’m naughtily thirsty for your taste and a surge of happiness is what I think of
Made love between the sheets and me naked with you would make me thrilled once more
You flare up my heart of stone and took away the sorrow and made me shamelessly soar…

You took away the soreness and gave me adoration in store
I recognize your hurt and I apologize for all I’ve done, so sad
Falling away, for I’m the fallen angel, longing to adore
You and you alone; still wandering in the world gone mad

I was defeated by depression and anxiety

Devastation turns into pain and hatred all over again and I don’t know why
Can’t stop rewinding the past in mind and I’m left broken and painfully shy
I’m a youth in love with a future soulmate in my dreams, in my wild dreams
Left lonesome and longing for what lies ahead, but I’m torn at the seams
