Uncovered Gifts
UNCOVERED GIFTS
Oppressed,
hidden,
covered,
choked,
overgrown,
in the garden and the lives
of living things
and many folks,
for in amongst
there are things of attraction,
that when smothered,
and where an invader,
covers purposely
their very existence.
Till finally
the day of liberation comes,
with diligence,
care,
as well as love,
displayed by someone
as the gardener who cares,
who uncovers the hidden,
the smothered,
in the beauty of plants and folks,
so when set free,
their contributions
are allowed to be,
to have new growth,
regeneration,
coloured blooms,
just like rainbow lorikeet displays
in arrangements,
of colours and beauty too.
