Uncle Sam

UNCLE SAM

Is Uncle Sam
white or black
dressed in blue
mattering
about
me and you
making a sign
of peace

our family tree
made up of
you and me
i love my family

stars above our heads
scars of generations
i lay the stars down
on the ground
each spot lights up
as we stand
together
each star flies up
lights the balmy sky

God smiles
at all

you matter to him
one and all
