Unclaimed

A prisoner of war I am
For that I chose the middle ground,
Where no man belonged.

A war of the good and the evil.
A war of the Gods and the Devil.

My greatness was never enough,
Nor was my darkness.

The Gods called me lost,
The devil saw me weak.

No hands were stretched,
Neither called my name.

A punishment perhaps.
Not rage,
Not salvation,
and no recognition.

But the forever of standing alone
Between the light and the dark,
Like the twilight
Belonging to neither side.
