UNCERTAIN ANSWER

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The mirror holds my face lightly, but the darkness behind it stirs~ a handprint left years ago, still pulsing like underground rivers. I ask the glass who I've become; it blinks, fogging over with my breath’s uncertain answer.
