Uncertain
Growing up,
I was very uncertain,
Of who I was,
Who I would be.
Even my purpose seemed to have no meaning.
As I got older,
Still was uncertain,
But bolder and wiser,
Had more desire.
Wanting to be proud of who I am,
Became my desire.
Took time,
As I wasn't getting any younger,
I ponder,
In my uncertainty,
My mind wandered.
My intentions were always good,
Determination was the key.
Aiming to complete my goals,
Persistence was the way to be.
On my mission,
I learned it's ok to be uncertain,
To keep a positive energy,
And my purpose became more clear.
I am proud of whom I've became,
Making my life's purpose,
more meaningful and sweet.
Being uncertain,
Made me a better me!!
