Unbound

Inside I feel the world wrapping me up
It is almost like a tornado
But it is much quieter
Still the chaos is there
Churning the days into months
I find the anger and confusion of past
It wraps me up in its white blanket
Somewhere reaching out for the peace
This cocoon like wrapping holds me in place
I can not speak to the people around me
I am alone, I can not tell them
They do not hear my meaning when I try
They only hear their own
Misunderstood for what I do
Lost behind a web created from a sour youth
Breaking free is my hearts desire
Leaving the chains that bind me
