Unattended
A garden unattended
is a woman abandoned
Grass growing unruly
her hair untidy
Petals dried out
manicure urgently needed
Dry stems and twigs
chapped lips and dry skin
Weeds vined and entwined around trees
ingrown toenails and coarse heels on feet
