Ulladu Narpadu Addendum 3

Oh hermit, there are no realms or domains,
they are but playgrounds for wayward ego,
since our true Self is free from all such chains,
recognised when all desires we let go.

All the manifest worlds are unreal,
created to fulfil ego’s desire,
where we reincarnate until we heal,
consigning lust to the funeral fire.

Contemplating thus in meditation,
always present in the eternal now,
bliss drenched heart in the void of cessation,
to remain focused on God is our vow.

Save coming undone, nothing need be done,
realising that God and we are one.
