Ufo
my good friend and I were in town to a concert
decided to drive home
some 100 miles away
I got tired on our journey
so I backed off the road and
upon a hill
we both settled in for a nap to
feel the morning chill
it was a clear night,
a starry night
I was admiring both sky and bay
I thought I could see almost every light around the head of the Bay
when it happened
you know
UFO
something passed over head or
did it hit me from behind
my radio began to play and
my car started to wine
I saw a light and
I could smell a smell
like burning air
I looked at the wheel but
no keys were there
first thing I thought someone put something in my beer!
then it happened
you know
UFO
I saw the light go across the sky
at speeds so fast it
streaked the night
then it came back again
I saw day for ten thousand feet
I could feel the light
My friend came around
on this second pass and
thought it was day
he never spoke
until a half hour after
the thing up and flew away
you know
the
UFO!
