pride flies from female airman

That stopped me short at first. Only 73? Then I realized that planes just haven't been around that long, have they?... Although what about all of those fighter planes in WW2? Were they part of the US Army or something. At any rate -- blow out the candles! :) gw

Splendid tanka recognizing the birthday of the USAF. I enlisted a few months later in July 48 and enjoyed 30 exciting, challenging and adventurous years with the AF. Thanks for recognizing this anniversary - Bob H
