Typical Father of the 21st Century
My daddy is the strongest man
I love when we stroll hand in hand
We like things, mom doesn't understand
If only he had more time
When we fish, he says I'm great
He always lets me hook the bate
We eat candy until I get a belly ache
If only he had more time
He lets me watch the grown up shows
Says mama doesn't have to know
Unlike mom, he doesn't cook, clean and sew
If only he had more time
When we play games, he lets me win
We take the 4 wheeler out for a spin
I get to stay awake past ten
If only he had more time
His visits have become few and far between
He says his free time is growing lean
I guess you could say I've started to ween
If only he made more time
