Two-Faced

As the tree of life stands
it define night from day
asked the two-faced oppressor
Is it a freedom for the free?

When the eagles fly
with hope beyond sky
clamoring glory
with pride and treachery

Carefully traveled
bridges of land and sea
precious blood of martyrs dried
in the course of history

Sobbing eyes of thunder
sons of the desert flee
sailing on troubled waters
of their two-faced enemy

Mighty mountain rejoiced
as the battle of self ends
as ruins being unfolded
the tree of life still stands

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
