Two Wings
I have two wide ranging wings
Filled with love and care.
That keeps me cosy in the icy world,
That bears me from falling apart,
That shields me from all the obstacles of life,
Even by wounding themselves.
The wings that help me fly into the blue sky,
The wings that take me to the tower of reality,
The wings that guide me to summit of happiness,
As they clear the mist of despair.
They make me strong to dash through howling winds,
They make me gleam like a star among others,
They make me who I truly am,
For they are my greatest gift from the Almighty-
My parents.
