Two Strangers

Two strangers Two strangers In a park In the sunshine In the spring Accidentally brush up against each other. The same sunshine warms each of them At that very moment. And instantly, they became like each other; The same touch, The same warmth of sun. The blue sky’s countenance is for both. Two strangers Quietly became acquainted And dare to glance at each other. Two strangers Reveal to each other The qualities each secretly possesses Revealing beauty and kindness. They steal a smile from each other And stop walking Long enough to remember the feeling of the touch of their hands In the sunshine. Two strangers Walk away No longer unknown. No longer strangers.
